redeco-baby-rating

There's an entirely new kind of redecorating happening around here, and I don't mean the kind you do for Christmas!

Nick knacks are creeping up the bookshelf.

After a sad, but inevitable episode with my tea set, our dishes have migrated up the shelves.

The potato and onion baskets have moved to my desk.

Pillows permanently flank the fireplace and the heater is blockaded.

Undaunted by my efforts to limit his exploration,

Charlie moves through his day with an uncanny talent for disaster!

It's too bad there's not a way to leave a sympathetic smile at the bottom of your post. :)

Don't worry - in about 6 months you'll have changed everythign in your place and wont worry too much about what he's into when you're out of the room.

I've got to say though - that dish shelf isn't going to make it that long. He hasn't started climbing yet - but that thing is going to be a challenge.

2 hints: stuff books in bottom shelves in so tight he can't pull them out. Looks nice and is effective. #2: the pool noodle. when you can find them they make easy table edge and fireplace coverings. Just slit them down the side and slip them over the edge of the table or fireplace. Remove when danger over. cheap and effective!

But doesn't his cute antics make up for the redecorating! ;)
