I had to have a stern conversation with Wendy over dessert last night. Her side of it went something like this:
“No mom, I was not just trying to eat chocolate ice cream. Are you crazy? I’m only two and a half months old! I wouldn’t even think of putting anything in my mouth but breast milk….why don’t you believe me?
“OK, fine. I’ll confess, I did have some, (and it has opened my eyes to the world of food--I’m certainly not ever letting the food that you are holding right there in your hand out of my sight) but it wasn’t my fault. He gave it to me!”
Ahhh the joys of being a second child!….

Love it! How do second children EVER survive?!?
Laughing so hard I almost woke up the rest of the dan at 5:30am...
What a cute seat Wendy is sitting in!
She looks so innocent and Charlie looks like he is enjoying his dessert and was glad to share it.
Hahaha! I laughed at work - it sounded so Adam-and-Eve-esque. :-)
Too funny. I remember my mom mentioning, when I was worried about the rules of introducing food to Peter, that those rules only applied to the first child. That second children were introduced to foods by their generous siblings. With them you were bound to turn around to find a four month old gnawing on an oreo you did not give them and an older sibling standing by feeling very proud of themselves.
