Keren's silly accomplishment of the week.

Just thought I'd share my "I am woman, hear me roar" moment from this week!
This is me, successfully arriving in our apartment on the second floor (no elevator) with the entire week's worth of groceries and Charlie(30lbs).

(I love reusable bags because you can sling them over your shoulder and they fit so much more. I never could have done this if my groceries were packed into those silly plastic sacks.)

It's only fair to point out that Charlie helped too.

It felt good to prove I could do it and all, but next time I'm definitely going back to timing my grocery shopping so that Jonathan can help me carry it up!

Yes, groceries. I get them to put all the refrig/freezer stuff in one sack or, at most, 2. Then I haul that up with Moira and herding Peter. We have an elevator though now. I'm glad we're not still in Chicago, that involved double parking and a walk up. Congrats on your woman/mommy moment of the week

Charlie is THIRTY POUNDS??? Wow. You are supermom.

I leave the groceries in the car while I run in and dump nory in her crib with a really fun toy. Then I run back out and get the groceries. Not nicest-mom-of-the-year material, but it gets the job done... And our garage is only about 30 feet from the house :)

Yes, please time your shopping so Jonathan can help you bring it in, or make several trips... Having a back that can handle it at thirty doesn't mean it's good for that back!

But it's an awesome accomplishment, sweetheart. You are an awesome woman!
